How We Operate

BOOKING ONTO A GAME

We will send an email to all members before each event so please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to be included, by responding to that notification email. There are limited number of spaces available, both for the golf and in the evening, so we will operate on a 'first come - first served' basis.

If you are not a member but would like to join one of our events, then please contact one of our organisers via email (admin@goldenbear.es)

 

When getting in touch via email, please confirm if you are a GNK Member, whether or not you require a Buggy, how many will be attending the evening Dinner and notify us of any special dietary requirements you may have.

 

Please be aware that it may prove necessary to amend the venue of the game or dinner, although we endeavour to avoid this if at all possible.

NON GNK MEMBER PLAYERS

On arrival at the course, please look for: Pat Stedham, Joe Leahy, Gordon Hutchinson or Andy Harvey, who will be collecting fees - including payment for the evening Dinner for those attending. Green fee & Buggy rates vary dependent on the course and time of year but are typically in the range of €45-€60 for green fees + €10-€20 to share a buggy if required. At most courses there is also a €3 'Day Licence Fee' for those who are not members of the Spanish Golf Federation.

 

For Guest golfers the fees are as above but with an additional €10 supplemental fee. It would be helpful if you could bring the exact money with you.

GNK MEMBER PLAYERS

You will need to go to the Pro Shop yourself and pay the normal €9 Green Fee directly (and the €3 'Day Licence Fee', if appropriate). Please do not mention or pay for any buggies as this will cause confusion and additional cost. GNK members wishing to use a buggy  will have them pre-booked through the event organisers and must pay the event organiser (NOT THE PRO SHOP) the cost of the buggy before commencing their round.

 

After paying your Green Fee, please see the event organiser to confirm your attendance and pay for the Evening Dinner & buggy, if applicable.

START TIMES AND GROUPINGS

The groupings & start times for the golf game will be provided a few days before the event will take place. Please make sure that you are at the course at least 30mins before your scheduled tee time to ensure all admin activities can be completed without delaying tee times.

EVENING DINNER

The selection choices for the evening dinner will be advised to all people that have registered to attend the event, typically 3 weeks before the event. It is important that attendees respond promptly as the menu selections need to be sent to the chosen restaurant well ahead of the event date.
